Updates
What changed in each release. Fateweaver tells you in Alerts when a new one is out; download it again from the home page.
A full-run record for every dungeon, healing on the meter, and the meter resets properly between dungeons.
- Battle History: leaving a dungeon saves a Full run record, the whole run in one place (trash and wipes included), with everyone's damage and healing per skill. Its duration counts only time in combat.
- Meter: HEAL on the DPS / DMG / BOTH button ranks players by healing done, with healing per second.
- Healing no longer counts heals on summons or monsters (a Spiritmaster's spirit buffs showed as healing), updates as it happens, and party members who only heal get a row.
- The meter clears itself whenever you change maps. A second dungeon could open on the last group's fight until you pressed Reset.
- Target button: back in the open world after a dungeon it no longer sticks on BOSS.
- In a dungeon, PARTY shows everyone in the run and switches on by itself, even when Fateweaver was started mid-run.
- Battle History keeps other players' full names for fights saved from now on.
- Details: DMG selected shows orange, HEAL teal; player bars use class colors like the meter; the window fits its contents as you fold sections.
- Alerts: updates are listed first, then server notices. The taskbar dot takes the color of the newest unread alert.
- New How to use page on fateweaver.dev.
- The debug log is much smaller.
Minimize the meter to one line, the target button picks itself, and training dummy records match NotMeter.
- Meter: a minimize button (next to the gear) folds the meter to its top line so it stops covering your HUD. It keeps recording, and nudges still show.
- Meter: the target button picks itself. TRAIN on a training dummy, BOSS when you hit a boss or are in a dungeon, ALL otherwise. Click to override until that changes.
- Alerts: server notices are listed first.
- Training dummy records count only your damage (and your spirits'). Other players on nearby dummies no longer end up in your records.
- A dummy run is 90 seconds from your first hit. When you and your spirits stop hitting for 5 seconds, the next hit starts a new run. Runs shorter than 90 seconds aren't saved.
- Right after a restart, before Fateweaver knows which character is you, no dummy record is saved instead of saving strangers.
- Field Bosses: Killed turns into a 5-second Undo before the kill is logged, and the list holds still meanwhile. A double-click no longer marks a second boss.
- Field Bosses: an × next to "killed …" removes a kill you logged by mistake.
- Nudges: an × closes one without opening the hub, and resting your cursor on it for under a second fades it out. It stays in Alerts either way.
- Meter: a MYSELF scope shows only you and your spirits. It stays on when your group changes; click again to go back to automatic.
- PARTY now shows everyone in your party (members who joined later could be missing), and the meter switches to it again after a zone change.
- Meter: the fight timer no longer overlaps the total DPS.
- Party members keep their names after the meter resets, and your legion's name is no longer mistaken for a player's. Healers' damage showed under bare numbers, and PARTY listed them at 0.
- The update alert in Alerts now links to these notes.
Alt+Tab no longer freezes Fateweaver's windows.
- Pressing Alt, or Alt+Tab, could freeze a Fateweaver window until another key was pressed. Fixed for every window.
- Field boss map errors no longer fill the debug log.
Your stats in Tools, the meter follows your party automatically, and dungeon runs count themselves.
- Tools: My stats shows your character's stats, read from the game.
- The meter switches itself between Everyone, Party and Force as you join and leave groups. Click to override until your group changes.
- Dungeon runs are detected from the map you're in and counted for Today and Week in your checklist.
- Settings > Diagnostics: Open log folder, for sending a log when something goes wrong.
- Links open only regular web pages, through your default browser.
